Your volunteer fee covers your accommodation, meals and local transport from your accommodation to the project site for the length of your placement. Money in addition to that depends on your personal preferences. However, you may need some extra money if you plan to participate in activities outside of the organization, or for personal shopping. Most shops accept credit and debit cards and cash can be withdrawn from ATM’s around the city. If you decide to carry cash, there are many licensed money changers for you to exchange your currency.
